Job summary

Pantheon Data in the Washington, DC area seeks a Data Analyst to transform complex federal datasets into actionable insights supporting mission-critical decisions. This role emphasizes data governance, federal compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will lead analytics strategies, build dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, and ensure data integrity across programs, while mentoring junior analysts and contributing to project planning.

Qualifications

• 8 years of analytics experience in data analysis, BI, or data science.
• Experience with federal contracting, including FAR-regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and federal data security standards.
• Dashboard development using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Expertise using SharePoint.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate data into insights.
• Ability to work remotely in cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of data analytics strategies aligned with federal program objectives.
• Perform statistical modeling, trend analysis, forecasting, and data mining using large datasets.
• Build dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Ensure compliance with federal data standards including NIST and agency requirements.
• Present findings to government clients and translate results into operational recommendations.
• Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading processes; implement data quality checks.
• Mentor junior analysts and manage analytics workstreams.
• Develop automated workflows using Python, R, SQL to improve efficiency.
