Job summary
Consolidated Nuclear Security (CNS) is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer in Oak Ridge. The role supports the CNS Software Quality Assurance Program, develops programmatic requirements, tools, and training, and monitors compliance with SQA policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include becoming a subject matter expert in software QA, coordinating with software owners, and ensuring proper software quality levels in systems from internal and external sources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/information technology is required.
- Master's degree in engineering/science/information technology is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop subject matter expertise in software quality assurance.
- Assist plant personnel in implementing software quality requirements.
- Work with software owners to ensure appropriate Software Quality Levels.
- Perform assessments to verify compliance with SQA Program requirements.
- Maintain software configuration control in SMan.
- Create, review and approve SQA documentation.
- Provide Quality organization support as needed.
