Job summary

System One is seeking a QA Engineer (NQA-1) in Oak Ridge, TN, for onsite direct hire. The role focuses on ensuring conformity to NQA-1 standards across engineering, procurement, dedication/qualification, and manufacturing processes.

You will develop and maintain an NQA-1 compliant QA program, review deliverables and quality documents, and coordinate vendor audits. Strong writing and problem-solving skills, plus knowledge of 10CFR regulations, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent military experience.
• 2–5+ years of experience in NQA-1 Quality Assurance.
• Willingness to achieve Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
• Deep knowledge of NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR Part 21, and standards such as EPRI and IEEE.
• Strong technical writing, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills.

• Develop, implement, and maintain an NQA-1 compliant Quality Assurance Program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent military experience. Degree not required for individuals with 5+ years of NQA-1 experience.
• 2 to 5+ years of experience in NQA-1 Quality Assurance.
• Willingness to achieve Lead Auditor certification (not required but preferred).
• Deep knowledge of NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR Part 21, and industry standards such as EPRI and IEEE.
• Strong technical writing, professional collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Infrequent travel support for audits and surveys.
