Job summary

HDR is seeking an SPS EIT/Designer to support design options and analyses within the Power sector. You will develop engineering deliverables, perform routine assignments, and collaborate with project engineers, EITs, designers, and BIM specialists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses to develop power-related design options or recommendations, and assist in the preparation of project deliverables (e.g., engineering drawing packages, cost estimates, project specifications).
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
• Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers / professionals on larger projects.
• Work with assistance from Project Engineers, other Engineers In-Training (EITs), Designers, or BIM Specialists as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of SPS EIT/ Designer, we'll count on you to:

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
