Job summary

SPS Corporation is seeking a Bilingual Safety Coordinator OSHA 30 for our Charlotte, NC team. You will ensure a safe, healthy work environment, conduct new hire orientations, and support field personnel with training and licensing for tools and equipment.

The role requires 1–2 years of safety experience in commercial construction and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Excellent teamwork and adherence to OSHA guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of commercial construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification or SPS Trained Trainer not required but preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish in work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of branch safety, lean support and enforcement.
• Conduct safety inspections and checklists.
• Provide safety training and licensing for field personnel on tools and equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• All phases of branch Safety Lean Support and Enforcement
• Safety Checklist Lean Checklist Inspections
• Conduct New Hire Orientations and Skill Assessments when required
• Supportive documentation
• Provide training and licensing for field personnel task to work with tools and equipment ie Hilti Tools MEWPs Lull & Forklift operations
• Scaffolds Ladders and Stilts
• Support Management team in creating New Job Start Up requirements ie contract safety documents JSSP SSSP OCIP CCIP requirement etc
• Ensures a Safe and Healthy work environment that adheres with OSHA guidelines
• Accompany and support injured employees attend initial doctor appointments support until employee is released to full duty
• Ensures all documentation is completed for any Accident Incident or Property Damage
• Other duties as needed

Requirements

• Experience 1 to 2 years in commercial construction safety experience
• Has knowledge of desktop computers laptops iPad smartphones and various other electronic devises
• OSHA 30SPS Trained Trainer provided by a Branch Safety Coordinator Safety QQC Safety Manager or Branch supporting SQRMBilingual EnglishSpanish
