Job summary

Piping Systems Installations LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a Massachusetts-licensed Sprinklerfitter to join our fire protection team. You will install, inspect, and maintain automatic sprinkler systems on commercial and industrial job sites across MA and RI.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Sprinklerfitter license (required).
• Prior experience in commercial/industrial fire protection installation.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, and 20 standards.
• Ability to read construction blueprints and system drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus.
• Rhode Island reciprocity/license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain wet, dry, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems per NFPA standards and local code.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and system layouts.
• Fabricate, cut, thread, and join pipe using groove, thread, and weld methods.
• Perform hydrostatic and inspector’s test procedures.
• Coordinate with project foremen and other trades on active job sites.
• Maintain documentation of work performed and materials used.
• Follow all safety protocols.

Position Summary
