Job summary
Piping Systems Installations LLC in Massachusetts seeks a MA-licensed sprinklerfitter to join our fire protection team. The role covers installation, inspection, and maintenance of automatic sprinkler systems on commercial and industrial sites across MA and RI.
You will read blueprints, interpret drawings, fabricate and install piping, and perform hydrostatic tests while coordinating with foremen and trades. Growth opportunities available.
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Sprinklerfitter license is required.
- Experience in commercial/industrial fire protection installation.
- Ability to read construction blueprints and system drawings.
- Knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R and 20 standards.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to sites.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
- Rhode Island reciprocity/license is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems.
- Read blueprints, shop drawings, and system layouts.
- Fabricate, cut, thread, and join pipe using groove, thread, and weld methods.
- Perform hydrostatic and inspector's test procedures.
- Coordinate with foremen and other trades on active job sites.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work and materials.
- Follow safety protocols on all sites.
