Job summary

Fire Safety and Protection is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair automatic sprinkler systems across the U.S. This role emphasizes reading blueprints, cutting and installing piping, and ensuring code-compliant operation while maintaining safety standards.

The position requires completing an apprenticeship in sprinkler fitting or related field, along with a valid driver's license and physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with safety in mind.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Completion of an apprenticeship in sprinkler fitting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, schematics, and specs to plan sprinkler installations.
• Measure, cut, and install pipes with fittings and connectors.
• Install valves, alarms, and other sprinkler components.
• Test for leaks and proper operation of the system.
• Perform routine maintenance and replace worn parts.
• Troubleshoot and repair sprinkler systems as needed.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders on progress and issues.
• Ensure work complies with codes and safety regulations.
• Keep records of labor, materials, and reports.
• Maintain safe working environment at all times.
