Job summary

Allied Fire Protection is seeking a Sprinkler Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot automatic fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. You will ensure compliance with NFPA codes, complete required paperwork, and maintain equipment to high safety standards.

Responsibilities include direct trenching/repair of underground mains when needed, coordinating with customers, and upholding company SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AFSA foreman training preferred.
• Foreman certification and NICET II/III are preferred certifications.
• Backflow, forklift, and scissor lift certifications are a plus.
• NFPA code knowledge and understanding of fire protection standards is required.
• Ability to read fire protection blueprints and understand installation requirements.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot automatic fire sprinkler systems in varied buildings.
• Direct or participate in trenching and repair of underground mains as needed.
• Complete paperwork electronically or on paper per office systems.
• Ensure equipment and pumps meet manufacturers’ requirements and safety standards.
• Maintain communications with customers and provide necessary information.
