Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an Inspector to conduct routine inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety lines.

You will accurately document deficiencies, represent the company professionally, and complete service acknowledgements with devices such as laptops or smartphones. The role requires enlistment in Grinnell's approved Apprenticeship Program, ability to perform physical labor, travel when needed, and flexibility including nights

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to obtain licenses as required by codes.
• Experience reading blueprints and specs.
• Willing to travel out of town.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug test.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine inspections and testing of life safety systems.
• Meet customer expectations and document deficiencies.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Complete service acknowledgements with proper coding using devices.
• Follow a structured inspection schedule and perform minor repairs.
• Assist foreman in sprinkler system installation.
• Carry/move equipment up to 70 lbs and work in various positions.
• Be enrolled in approved Apprenticeship Program and learn quickly.
