Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an inspector to perform routine inspections, testing, servicing and maintenance of life safety sprinkler product lines. You will document deficiencies, complete service acknowledgements, and follow a structured inspection schedule.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs and occasional work in ladders or high lifts. Applicants should have 3+ years in sprinkler systems, an RME-I license, and experience reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of documented experience in sprinkler systems.
• Licensure: RME-I license required.
• Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, fire pumps, and foam systems.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50-70 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Experience reading blueprints and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, servicing and maintenance of life safety product lines.
• Document deficiencies accurately.
• Complete service acknowledgements with proper coding using devices.
• Follow a structured inspection schedule.
• Assist foreman in installing sprinkler systems.
• Work in challenging positions (ladders, scaffolding, lifts).
