Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC in Florida is seeking a Senior Sprinkler Service Technician to independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This role requires strong technical competency, necessary licenses, and the ability to complete jobs with minimal supervision.

You will guide entry-level technicians, maintain safety and compliance with NFPA standards, and travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as a technician.
• NICET Level II or above preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, service procedures, and applicable codes.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Guide and support entry-level technicians and apprentices.
• Travel to job sites as required.

This position demonstrates strong technical competency, holds applicable licenses, and is capable of completing jobs independently.
