Encore’s growth has created a need for a Sprinkler Service Technician based in our Baltimore, Maryland office.

Responsibilities

• Service, test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems, with or without supervision. Installation skills are a plus but not required.
• Work some overtime hours, including nights, weekends, and emergency calls.
• Coordinate with contractors, customers, building maintenance, and office staff to manage workload.
• Identify code violations and non-conformance issues.
• Make confident and accurate recommendations for system improvements.
• Respond promptly to troubleshooting and repair needs on customer systems.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and work ethic.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; industry experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel within Maryland.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of blueprints.
• Knowledge of fire codes and fire sprinkler systems.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet and in adverse weather.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; experience with lift operations and OSHA guidelines.
• NICET certification is a plus.
