Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is hiring a Sprinkler Service Support Technician in New Jersey. The role supports service technicians with maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of fire sprinkler systems, while learning safety procedures and company protocols.

Under direct supervision, you will use hand tools, transport equipment to job sites, and participate in documentation and reporting. Extensive on-site collaboration and travel are required as part of the daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No minimum experience is required.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

The Sprinkler Service Support Technician assists service technicians in performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of fire sprinkler systems. The Support Technician works under direct supervision and assists with basic tasks while learning industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.

Pay Rate:

$20 to $25 hourly based on experience.
