Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is hiring a Sprinkler Service Support Technician to assist service technicians with maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of fire sprinkler systems. You’ll learn industry standards and safety procedures while performing tasks under direct supervision.

Key duties include handling tools, transporting equipment to job sites, and supporting documentation and reporting. Travel to job sites is required as needed; lifting and physical work are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No minimum experience required.
• Must follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

The Sprinkler Service Support Technician assists service technicians in performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of fire sprinkler systems. The Support Technician works under direct supervision and assists with basic tasks while learning industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist service technicians with maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of fire sprinkler systems.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment under direct supervision.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Observe and learn proper service and repair techniques.
• Support documentation and reporting processes as directed.
• Work collaboratively with team members on active job sites.
• Perform tasks as directed does not independently perform jobs.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.

Pay Rate

$20 to $23 hourly based on experience.
