Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician to install, service, maintain, and repair sprinkler systems across commercial sites. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards.

This role requires a high school diploma, 5+ years of experience, and a clean driving record. A company vehicle is provided where applicable and weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with installations, service, maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Clean driving record and active driver's license if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform installations, service, maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Document service reports accurately and promptly.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Travel to job sites as required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Independently perform Installations, service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Guide and support entry-level technicians and apprentices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience performing Installations, service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, service procedures, and applicable codes.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license (if driving is required).

Other Duties:

• Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
• Performs other duties assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.

Pay Range:

• $40-$45 per hour DOE
• Weekly Pay
