Pye-Barker Fire & Safety seeks a skilled Sprinkler Technician to perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems at commercial and industrial sites. You will diagnose issues, test with proper tools, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
This role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler systems. NICET I+ is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required. Travel to job sites is expected.

The Sprinkler Technician independently performs or assists with retrofits, service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This position requiresdemonstratedtechnical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision. The technician may be considered at a Journeyman level and is expected to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.
Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Support and assist entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed.
Travel to job sites as required.
Other duties as assigned by management.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in the fire sprinkler systems.
NICET Level I or above preferred.
Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and service procedures.
Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
Performs other duties assigned by management.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
