Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Sprinkler Service Inspector to perform routine inspections, testing, service and preventative maintenance on fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting and accurate documentation.

We offer a competitive hourly pay range of $28.00–$38.00, a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments, and a benefits program.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine service and maintenance on wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
  • Identify and diagnose issues with fire suppression systems.
  • Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
  • Manage job scheduling and job progress in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with a strong focus on quality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing inquiries and service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Complete and submit all required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Ensure work complies with relevant codes and regulations and follow safety practices.

Job Summary

Sprinkler Service Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Fire Sprinkler, Clean Agent and Special Hazard Fire Protection Systems.

Pay Range: $28.00 - $38.00 / Hourly.

The posted salary range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position at the time of posting and is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual starting pay will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location (where applicable), and market considerations. Not all candidates will be hired at the top of the posted range. The posted range reflects base salary only and does not include any applicable bonuses, commissions, overtime, or the value of employee benefits. Eligible employees may participate in the Company's benefit programs, subject to the terms and eligibility requirements of each plan.

Sign-On Bonus: Qualified technicians will receive a $5,000.00 sign-on bonus paid in two installments: the first payment after successfully completing 30 days of employment, and the second payment after completing 90 days. This bonus rewards your commitment and excellent performance during your initial months with our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine service and maintenance tasks on wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. This includes inspecting, testing, cleaning components, and verifying system functionality.
  • Identify and diagnose issues with fire suppression systems.
  • Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
  • Manage job scheduling and job progress in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with a strong focus on quality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing their inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally. Educate customers on fire suppression system functionality, best practices, and emergency response procedures.
  • Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
  • Making sure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment – trucks, lifts, tools, etc.
