Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sprinkler Operations Manager to lead the Mechanical Sprinkler delivery across the district, balancing customer satisfaction, efficiency, cost control, and financial performance while overseeing project engineering, CAD operations, order entry, installation, and technical support.

The role requires seven years of district operations experience (construction/sprinkler preferred), strong leadership, and solid financial acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is preferred.
• Minimum seven years of experience managing district operational activities or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in the sprinkler fire protection industry is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with effective writing, speaking, and presentation ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mechanical Sprinkler delivery activities from order entry through installation and technical support.
• Partner with sales to review customer requirements, contractual obligations, and the best Johnson Controls solution.
• Oversee project engineering, project management, CAD operations, submittals, installation schematics, and equipment delivery.
• Manage contract review, technical support, outside purchasing, scheduling, labor planning, and business approvals.
• Coordinate installation planning, material purchasing, subcontractor management, and technical installation support.
• Work with the service team to support seamless project turnover and customer handoff.
