FireTron Inc. is seeking a motivated Fire Sprinkler Helper to join our team in College Station, TX. This entry-level role provides hands-on training under experienced Foremen and Technicians to assist with installation, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.

You will learn to read sprinkler design drawings, perform routine inspections, and work safely on-site to complete projects on schedule. Openness to overtime and weekend work is expected as needed.

FireTron is seeking a motivated and dependable Fire Sprinkler Helper to join our team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals interested in learning the fire sprinkler trade and building a long-term career in the fire protection industry.

As a Fire Sprinkler Helper, you will work under the direct supervision of experienced Foremen and Technicians to assist with the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. This role provides hands-on training while developing the skills necessary to install systems safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Assist with the installation of fire sprinkler systems under close supervision.


• Support technicians and Foremen with daily job site activities.


• Learn to read and interpret sprinkler system design drawings and install systems accordingly.


• Perform routine testing and inspections of sprinkler systems.


• Cut, thread, groove, join, and secure piping using appropriate tools and techniques.


• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.


• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and job site requirements.


• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.


• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

• Ability and willingness to learn sprinkler system installation and blueprint reading.

• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including climbing ladders and scaffolding, and working in crawl spaces, ducts, and above-ceiling areas.
