Pay Range

This range is provided by Coastal Hospitality Associates. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Starting at $17.00/hr!

Role Overview

The Cook ensures the quality of food for our hotel guests, maintains consistent food preparation and presentation, and adheres to safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking food according to recipes, maintaining a clean work environment, and proper storage of food items.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the kitchen before shifts, including food prep and stocking.
  • Ensure all supplies are available and ready for use.
  • Cook food items requested, coordinating with team members for timely service.
  • Clean the kitchen and assist with other stations as needed.
  • Unload deliveries and store inventory correctly.
  • Follow safety and sanitation policies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least one year of cooking experience in a full-service restaurant.
  • Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience preparing meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 50lbs.
Required Characteristics
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
