Job Overview

As a Maintenance Tech you will be responsible for building, pool and grounds maintenance of a new 130-room Springhill Suites hotel adjacent to Carowinds Amusement Park. You will also be responsible for safety and security within the building and grounds while ensuring guests are well cared for and have a memorable stay experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the hotel building, equipment, and guest rooms ensuring they are in complete working order and public areas are free from blemishes.
• Ensure all public areas (hallways, pool area, fitness center, sports courts, banquet spaces, stairways, public restrooms, lobby) are in good repair and mechanically sound.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and take corrective action as appropriate.
• Perform minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical work, and other related maintenance activities.
• Communicate with supervisor regarding status of repairs, guest rooms, inventory levels, guest complaints, losses, and unusual situations.
• Complete various forms and department paperwork, following all operational procedures.
• Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.
• Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods, to meet business needs.

Qualifications
