Job summary

Sanofi in Waltham, MA invites a highly motivated Spring Co-op to join the Virology Platform, Global Antigen Design team. You will contribute to vaccine candidate characterization and learn various virological and molecular techniques.

You will work under supervision, maintain notebooks, and participate in lab tasks with mentoring as part of a 6-month internship; relocation to the office is expected, with a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Master's or PhD in life sciences with plans to graduate by Spring 2029.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship at time of application or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
• Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

Responsibilities

• Complete specific laboratory research tasks under supervision and demonstrate high productivity and data quality.
• Learn virology and vaccinology by reading literature and interacting with supervisor and team.
• Maintain and update experiment notebooks according to QA requirements.
• Participate in lab and equipment maintenance and restocking lab supplies.
• Attend group meetings and present data.
