Symetra is offering a Retirement Sales Intern position for spring quarter 2027. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the sales process, supporting wholesalers and developing skills in calls, lead generation, and marketing projects.

You'll rotate through Internal Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, gaining experience with illustrations, CRM tools, and presentations to build a foundation for a career in financial services.

Qualifikationen

• Current student enrollment in college courses – Junior or higher status.
• Majors include Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurial studies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical/computer skills.
• Demonstrated success in a team environment.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, and ability to multitask and problem-solve.
• Comfortable making outbound calls as well as receiving inbound calls.

Aufgaben

• Partner with wholesalers to drive territory sales through follow up of meetings and calls.
• Assist with running illustrations, sourcing marketing materials and helping inbound requests from financial professionals.
• Assist with product inquiries, product illustrations, updates on pending applications, and fulfilling orders for marketing material and sales literature.
• Campaign calling assistance--launch new products, identifying new sales opportunities and scheduling in person and virtual meetings for the wholesaling teams.
• Lead generation and data clean-up through Salesforce (CRM).
• Actively participating in meetings, group discussions and end of internship presentations to upper management.
