Job summary

Equitable invites motivated Summer 2027 interns to join the Individual Retirement Sales Desk in Charlotte, NC. The program offers hands-on experience, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven exposure to retirement solutions and wholesaling concepts.

Interns will work on projects with Internal and External Wholesalers, gain CRM and reporting experience, and develop professional skills in a client-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (rising junior or senior preferred).
• Interest in financial services, sales, and relationship driven business environments.
• Experience taking initiative and leading through academics, athletics, campus organizations, extracurricular activities, or employment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of retirement and annuity products through training and hands on experience.
• Work alongside Internal Wholesalers to learn how retirement solutions are marketed and distributed through relationships with Financial Professionals and industry partners.
• Learn how annuity illustrations and product concepts are used to help Financial Professionals present retirement solutions to clients.
• Utilize CRM systems, reporting tools, and business data to prepare call lists, reports, and other materials that support team initiatives.
• Contribute to projects that support key priorities within the Individual Retirement business.
