Job summary

Conductix-Wampfler is seeking electrical-mechanical assemblers to join our team in Omaha, NE. Qualified candidates are self-directed, quality minded, and able to solve problems in a team environment.

Essential duties include assembling electrical and mechanical components, reading wiring specifications, and operating cut-off saws and drill presses. We provide forklift/crane certification training and a benefits package including health and life insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of electrical or mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• Must be able to use measurement devices.
• Self-directed and quality minded.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to specifications.
• Perform electrical installations per wiring specifications.
• Operate tools listed in the job description to assemble cable reels.
• Connect color-coded wires and test electrical assemblies.
• Discuss issues with supervisors or engineers to clarify problems.
• Support quality systems and 5S initiatives.
