Job summary

The School District of Milton is seeking applicants for a Spring Play Director at Milton High School. The position begins as soon as possible and works closely with the Performing Arts Center Manager, and parent and community volunteers to coordinate the Spring full-length play (April 2027).

Responsibilities include show selection, costuming, sets, auditions, rehearsals and publicity; requires organizing and overseeing production elements while maintaining a positive environment for students.

Qualifications

• Experience with theatre productions using licensed scripts.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to delegate, set deadlines, and foster a positive environment for students.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Spring full-length play including selection, casting, rehearsals, and publicity.
• Organize costumes, sets, auditions, and tech cues.
• Work with staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure a successful production.
