Job summary

MBE CPAs in Baraboo, WI is seeking a Spring 2027 IT Support Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting the technology, systems, and tools used by professionals across the organization.

You will perform data collection, troubleshooting, and daily end-user support while collaborating with IT on improvement initiatives. This paid internship follows a Monday–Friday schedule and onsite work at the Baraboo office, with mentorship and networking opportunities throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or certificate in information technology, computer science, MIS, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Customer service mindset when assisting employees and end users.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Junior and Senior standing preferred.

At MBE CPAs, interns are treated as part of the team from day one. You'll gain hands-on experience working alongside department leaders and professionals who are invested in your growth while contributing to meaningful projects across the organization. Along the way, you'll build professional connections and gain exposure to potential career opportunities within MBE and the affiliate group.

As an IT Support intern, you'll help support the technology, systems, and tools team members rely on every day. This internship provides exposure to technical support, troubleshooting, technology operations, and IT service delivery within a fast-paced professional environment.

What you'll do:

• Application data collection and documentation
• Tasks related to troubleshooting and system replacement
• Day-to-day support for employees' technology needs
• Partnering with IT on technology improvement initiatives

Skills & Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree or certificate in information technology, computer science, management information systems, cybersecurity, or related field
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Schedule:

Full-time internships follow a Monday - Friday schedule averaging 40 hours a week. IT interns are expected to work onsite at their selected location during normal business hours. Specific schedules may vary based on office needs and workload. Some flexibility is available to accommodate class schedule.
