Job summary

Students participating in the Internship Program will be responsible for the following:

• Providing their own transportation to and from work.
• Arriving at the work site at the time designated by the worksite supervisor.
• Performing the tasks assigned by the vocational instructor/coordinator and the worksite supervisor in an efficient manner.
• Demonstrating honesty, punctuality, courtesy, a cooperative attitude, appropriate dress, and a willingness to learn.
• Conforming to the guidelines of the internship worksite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or having an interest in a criminal justice related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional and confidential environment

The ideal candidate is a college student in good standing - preferably a junior, senior, or graduate student - who is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or who has graduated within the past year.
