Six Flags in Charlotte is seeking a Spring Hill 2026 Property Maintenance Technician to support hotel building and equipment maintenance. You will ensure guest rooms and public areas remain in top condition and respond to maintenance needs with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires at least 2 years in maintenance and relevant vocational training in electrical, HVAC, plumbing or carpentry. Flexibility for nights/weekends is expected.

Formación

• High school diploma / GED required for the role.
• Vocational / technical training in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry or related work preferred.
• At least 2 years of maintenance or relevant work experience required.
• Knowledge of chemical handling, mechanical aptitude and electrical/plumbing systems.
• Must have ability to operate various types of heavy maintenance equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains the hotel building and equipment and to ensure guest-rooms are in complete working order and public areas are free from unsightly maintenance blemishes.
• Ensures public areas including hallways, pool area, fitness center, sports courts, banquet spaces, stairways, public restrooms, lobby are in good repair and mechanically sound.
• Conducts preventative maintenance inspections and takes corrective action as appropriate.
• Performs routine painting, plumbing, electrical work and other maintenance tasks; makes routine repairs to equipment.
• Communicates status of repairs, guest-rooms, inventory, guest complaints, losses, and unusual situations to supervisor to maintain smooth operations.
• Completes department forms and paperwork and follows department procedures.
• Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when interacting with guests or staff.
• Meets scheduling availability including nights, weekends, and holiday periods.

Educación

High school diploma / GED

Vocational / technical training in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry or related work

Two years maintenance or relevant work experience

Knowledge of chemical handling, mechanical aptitude, electrical/plumbing systems

Ability to operate heavy maintenance equipment

Responsibilities:

• Maintains the hotel building and equipment and to ensure guest-roomsare in complete working order and public areas are free from unsightly maintenance blemishes.
• Ensures that all public areas including hallways, pool area, fitness center, sports courts, banquet spaces, stairways, public restrooms, public access and lobby areas are in good repair and mechanically sound.
• Conducts preventative maintenance inspections as assigned and take corrective action as appropriate.
• Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities. Makes routine repairs to hotel equipment.
• Communicates with supervisor regarding status of repairs, guest-rooms, inventory levels, guest complaints, losses, and any unusual situations to maintain smooth operation.
• Completes various forms and department paperwork. Follows all department operational procedures.
• Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions
• Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma / GED required.
• Vocational / technical training in Vocational Training: Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry or related work preferred.
• At least 2 years of maintenance or relevant work experience required.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling techniques; proper maintenance techniques, requirements, and use of equipment; Strong mechanical aptitude and a working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Must have ability to operate various types of heavy maintenance equipment.
