Job summary

The intern will support administrative tasks for two Medicaid Waivers, assist with eligibility and file reviews, and help ensure compliance with HCBS and state rules.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a part-time or full-time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time they apply.
• By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative duties in managing waivers or quality assurance for HCBS Rules and SD Administrative Rules.
• Help with eligibility determinations, authorizations, file reviews, and providing technical assistance.
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
