Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in BS or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or closely related discipline.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university for the duration of the co‑op/internship.
• Must relocate to the office and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Perform synthesis, purification, and characterization of oligonucleotides and/or small molecules.
• Operate solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesizers and related instrumentation.
• Execute ion exchange column chromatography for purification.
• Conduct LCMS analysis to assess purity and identity of products.
• Record data and maintain notebooks with data integrity per QA standards.
• Analyze results, troubleshoot, and propose solutions with senior scientists.
• Prepare written summaries, reports, and presentations of findings.
