Job summary

Sanofi’s 2027 Spring Co-op Bioinformatic Digital Data Scientist - Global Immunology in Waltham, MA, offers hands-on experience within the Immunology and Vaccines teams. You will support data entries, analyze datasets, and develop computational models while receiving mentorship from leaders in the field.

Applicants should be enrolled in a related program, be authorized to work in the U.S., and be prepared to commit 40 hours per week for six months.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship at application or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
• Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement computational pipelines for processing large-scale immunological datasets.
• Quality check research data entries in the electronic notebooks.
• Analyze complex biological data from sequencing, proteomics, and immunological assays using Python/R and bioinformatics tools.
• Promote reproducible analysis with robust documentation and version control.
