Job summary

Lansing - W Saginaw Hwy in Rockville, MD, invites you to join our Accounting Intern program this Spring 2027. The role introduces you to our Business Management Training program and prepares you to manage financial operations.

This temporary position offers 25-40 hours per week for 12 weeks; pay is $20.00 per hour. Must be graduating May 2027 and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled for Spring 2027 in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Finance with graduation May 2027.
• At least 6 months experience in customer service, leadership, or administration.
• Experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and analysis.
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments.
• Assist accounting managers with reports and schedules.
• Handle A/P and A/R functions, cash receipts and petty cash.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.

Overview

Our Accounting Intern position will introduce you to our Business Management Training program which fully prepares you to become a Business Manager of your own financial operation.

This position is located in Rockville, MD. This is a temporary part time or full time position in Spring 2027 working 25-40 hours a week for 12 weeks. Pay is $20.00 / hour.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled for the Spring 2027 semester in a college/university in a bachelors degree program in Accounting or Finance with a graduation date of May 2027.
• Must have at least 6 months experience in customer service, leadership or administration
  • Leadership experience could include experience in organizations, clubs, volunteer work, community service, athletics or military service
• Experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no DUI or DWI on driving record in the last 3 years) employment reference, education and social security
