Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will manage patient care for an assigned group, reflecting Northside Hospital values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration and empowerment. Work hours are 8a-5p with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred; additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other clinical certifications may be required for specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines and in line with Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Manage patient care for an assigned group of patients, collaborating with the care team to uphold hospital values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration and empowerment.

Required
