Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia seeks a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and established guidelines, compliant with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will manage care for an assigned patient group, upholding values of collaboration, communication, and coordination while ensuring safety and quality. Shifts are 7a–7p in a supportive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred; Additional life support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other clinical certifications in specific units may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• The nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital, reflecting collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• BSN degree
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
