Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to deliver compassionate, guideline-based care to an assigned patient group under physician orders and Georgia regulations.

The RN must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed in Georgia with BLS. Preferred candidates may hold a BSN and additional life support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other specialty certifications in specific units. Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: BSN degree; ACLS, PALS, NRP or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Manages care for an assigned group of patients in line with Northside Hospital policies and values (collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, empowerment).

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Additionally, the practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.

• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
