Gulfstream, a division of General Dynamics, offers a Spring 2027 Collegiate Associate Intern position at our Savannah, GA campus. Interns collaborate with Innovation, Engineering and Flight teams on real-world projects in a world-class facility, gaining hands-on experience across nearly 40 departments.

We seek students from aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems, industrial & systems, or instrumentation engineering programs.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded) listed on resume.
• Available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during Spring 2027.
• Open to undergraduates, master’s and PhD students.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and complete discrete tasks on schedule.
• Contribute to aircraft-related engineering work using company processes.
• Support prototype and test activities across the product lifecycle.
• Generate and analyze technical test data.
• Interface with internal organizations and external suppliers.

About the position

Gulfstream engineering interns in Innovation, Engineering and Flight are an integral part of the engineering staff, contributing to projects that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.

We are looking for all levels of educational experience -from undergraduates to master's and PhD students-who are seeking professional experience in a state-of-the-art engineering environment. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and contribute by completing discrete engineering tasks on schedule.
• Using company procedures, apply engineering knowledge to resolveaircraft relatedissues.
• Support component and full-scale aircraft prototype and test activities during the lifecycle of Gulfstream products.
• Generate and analyze miscellaneous technical test data.
• Interface with various internal organizations such as Production Engineering, Completions Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Product Support and Procurement as well as external suppliers.
• Develop knowledge of application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in assigned field of expertise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Other Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:
  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Systems Engineering
  • Industrial & Systems Engineering
  • Engineering
  • Instrumentation Engineering
• Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring 2027 semester, beginning in January 2027.
