Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA is seeking Spring 2027 Flight Sciences Engineer Collegiate Associate Interns. You will work with engineers to tackle real-world projects and gain hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art environment.

Eligible students are enrolled full-time in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Industrial & Systems, or related engineering programs, with a 3.0 GPA or higher and on-site availability for Spring 2027 in Savannah.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded).
• Minimum duration: 10–12 weeks (summer); 10–16 weeks (spring and fall).
• Must work onsite; this is not a remote position.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and complete discrete tasks on schedule.
• Support aircraft prototype and test activities during the lifecycle.
• Generate and analyze miscellaneous technical test data.
• Interface with internal organizations and external suppliers.
• Develop knowledge of application of technical principles in assigned field.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the position

Gulfstream engineering interns in Innovation, Engineering and Flight are an integral part of the engineering staff, contributing to projects that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and contribute by completing discrete engineering tasks on schedule.
• Using company procedures, apply engineering knowledge to resolveaircraft relatedissues.
• Support component and full-scale aircraft prototype and test activities during the lifecycle of Gulfstream products.
• Generate and analyze miscellaneous technical test data.
• Interface with various internal organizations such as Production Engineering, Completions Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Product Support and Procurement as well as external suppliers.
• Develop knowledge of application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in assigned field of expertise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Other Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:
  • Aerospace Engineering

Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring 2027 semester, beginning in January 2027.
