Job summary

Kroger Co. invites current college students to join its Summer Internship Program for a 15-week immersive experience in Human Resources. The program includes on-the-job training, mentorship, and exposure to senior leaders.

Spring 2027 dates run January 11 to April 23, with competitive pay and opportunities to work on diverse HR projects. Participants will recruit, screen, interview, and coordinate intern activities, while gaining hands-on experience in HR and business operations at the Store

Qualifications

Open to all majors and actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university.
Must have work authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Highly motivated with leadership and teamwork abilities.
Strong communication skills and ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

Support recruiting by screening candidates, reviewing applications, and assisting with selection.
Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with recruiters, hiring managers, and teams.
Assist with candidate communication throughout the process.
Support internship program development and execution.
Plan and schedule intern events to create a positive intern experience.
Assist with recruitment and onboarding for incoming interns.
Help promote the internship program to attract qualified candidates.
