Job summary

Abridge is seeking Software Engineering Interns for a 3-month Spring 2027 program in our San Francisco office. You will collaborate with engineers to design, code, and ship AI-powered features that support real-time clinical workflows.

You will gain hands-on experience through mentorship, contributing to end-to-end features, evaluation, and integration with LangChain and similar tools. Strong candidates may receive a return offer for full-time roles after the internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS/SE or related field.
• Interest in a full-time SWE role in 2027; strong performers may get a return offer.
• Experience with AI tooling to write, debug, and learn efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end features for clinician workflows.
• Fix user-facing bugs and improve backend/frontend QoL.
• Work with evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy and robustness.
• Prototype with new models and open-source orchestration tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Develop user-centric mindset and empathy for clinicians.
• Collaborate with product, ML, and infrastructure teams to ship features.
• Receive mentorship and collaborate with teammates in your pod.
