Job summary

The Atlantic Council is seeking an ambitious intern to support the Millennium Leadership Program in Washington, DC. You will help manage applicant data, coordinate meetings, assist with event logistics, and draft communications for global programs.

You will gain broad exposure to high-impact international programming, assist in proposal writing, social media, and monitoring/evaluation tasks while collaborating with teams and partners worldwide.

Qualifications

• Graduate student or recent college graduate in a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities; multitasking across priorities.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with WordPress, Canva, Salesforce or Monday.com is a plus.
• Professional demeanor when collaborating with US and international partners.
• Authorized to work in the United States; available for full-time in-person Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Keep applicant data, scheduling, materials, and meetings organized with accuracy and follow-through.
• Coordinate events and international study tours, retreats, trainings, and virtual programming.
• Draft proposals, promotional materials, social posts, website content, and support publication processes.
• Design surveys, track metrics, and perform basic data analysis for monitoring and evaluation.
• Take notes at meetings, flag gaps, and help close loops.
• Be flexible and contribute across all program activities as needed.
