Job summary

Atlantic Council in Washington, DC seeks a Young Global Professional Intern to gain exposure to event planning, research, and publications within the Eurasia Center. The role offers hands-on experience across logistics, communications, and policy outreach, supporting a fast-paced think-tank environment.

The position requires a college junior or graduate student with interest in Eurasia, strong writing and analytical skills, and availability for 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a college junior in good standing, preferably majoring in international affairs or another relevant field.
• Demonstrable interest in Ukraine, Russia, and the wider region, as well as the core mission of the Atlantic Council.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to identify and work through challenges with strong judgment and emotional intelligence.
• Aptitude and strong skills in research, writing, and logistics.
• Strong analytical, planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Russian and/or Ukrainian language is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with logistics for Eurasia Center events and programming.
• Organize and consolidate prep materials for meetings, events, speaking engagements, and trips.
• Conduct research in support of Eurasia Center activities, including meetings, speeches, articles, reports, policy briefs, and Congressional engagement.
• Help support the operations and administrative functions of the Eurasia Center.
• Assist with monitoring program contacts, networks, and the news cycle.
• Draft correspondence and take notes at Council roundtables and strategy sessions.
