Job summary

SpaceX is seeking exceptional students for Spring 2027 engineering internships/co-ops across multiple U.S. sites including Bastrop, Brownsville, Cape Canaveral, Hawthorne, Irvine, Long Beach, and more.

Interns will work closely with a mentor, apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects, and participate in professional and social events. Applicants should be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering, physics, or math discipline, with 3+ months of applied engineering

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline by the start of employment.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable).
• U.S. citizen/national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee as applicable per ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams across design, manufacturing, and operations under mentorship.
• Apply technical knowledge to real projects that have measurable impact.
• Participate in site activities and network with interns and staff.
