Job summary

SpaceX invites exceptional students to join our Spring 2027 Engineering Internship/Co-op across a variety of teams including design, manufacturing and operations at Bastrop, Brownsville, Cape Canaveral, and more. Interns work with mentors to apply knowledge on impactful projects and attend professional development events.

Must be enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s program, with a GPA 3.5+ and 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline by the start of employment.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable).
• Applicant for this intern position must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident (e.g., green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158.

Responsibilities

• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• 6+ months experience applying technical skills outside of the classroom.
• Ability to work well in an integrated collaborative team environment, including frequent interactions with technicians, engineers, and managers.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic professional setting with changing needs and requirements.
