Job summary

SpaceX seeks extraordinary students for Summer 2027 engineering internships across a variety of teams including design, manufacturing and operations. Interns work closely with mentors, apply knowledge to meaningful projects, and participate in events that foster networking and growth.

Internships are onsite at Bastrop, Brownsville, Cape Canaveral, Hawthorne, Irvine, Long Beach, McGregor, Palo Alto, Redmond, Vandenberg, and Woodinville, offering hands-on experience in a dynamic space environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program by the start of employment.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or projects).
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee per SpaceX requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a mentor and engineering teams on impactful projects.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers and managers in an integrated team.
• Participate in social and professional events for interns and employees.
