Job summary

SpaceX seeks extraordinary students for Spring 2027 software engineering internships/co-ops. You will work with a mentor on projects with significant impact and have opportunities to network through events.

Aerospace experience is not required; strong problem solving and collaboration are essential. Internships are available across Bastrop, Brownsville, Cape Canaveral, Hawthorne, Irvine, McGregor, Palo Alto, and Redmond.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate program.
• 3+ months of software programming or development experience.
• Coding experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript or Python.
• Applicant must be a US citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee per ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a mentor and teammates on projects with impact.
• Apply knowledge and grow skills during the internship.
• Participate in optional intern/social events.
• Demonstrate academic success and motivation to apply knowledge outside the classroom.
