Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EH&S engineering practices, IH sampling, regulatory compliance for OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI, & NEC.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access.
• Good writing skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply principles learned in school to hands-on situations to help improve EHS programs, practices, and reporting.
• Attend regular departmental safety meetings.
• Daily management of Benchmark Gensuite EHS platform for safety and reporting.
• Review PPE requirements for various departments and processes.
• Perform and/or review job risk analyses for processes and tasks.
• Work with hourly workforce to address day-to-day safety concerns.
• Help manage safety, environmental and sustainability compliance requirements.
• Assist with hazardous materials and waste stream processing information.
• Review and refine OSHA training programs.
• Learn to perform new hire safety training and orientation.
