Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's Ethicon division in Raritan, NJ is recruiting a Co-Op for Spring 2027 in a laboratory-based role. You will perform polymer characterization and wet chemistry under supervision, supporting new product development and lifecycle management.

The position requires staying enrolled in a BA/BS program in Chemistry or related fields, a minimum GPA of 3.0, and full-time availability. Candidates must be US-perm and able to work in the US, with safety-conscious laboratory conduct.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic chemistry lab skills is required.
• Must be able to work permanently in the US and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) with reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Perform polymer characterization and wet chemistry in Ethicon under supervision.
• Execute methods/procedures to support new product development and lifecycle management.
• Manage samples and data under supervision of lab managers; participate in cross-functional R&D teams.
