Job summary

Oakworks Inc. is seeking a Spray Painter/Sprayer to apply paint and stain to parts for medical and spa equipment, ensuring a high-quality finish and timely production.

You will clean spray guns, follow specs, read drawings, and coordinate with manufacturing teams to meet demand. Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years in electrical or mechanical assembly; experience in regulated environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to demonstrate mechanical ability (reading drawings, assembling electrical & mechanical components).
• Experience in electrical or mechanical assembly is preferred (2+ years).
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Sprays all parts needed for manufacturing and to be able to mix custom stains.
• Keeps spray guns clean to ensure an even coat on products.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and ensures final quality inspections.

This position manages the application of paint and stain to products while focusing on customer satisfaction and ensuring production demands are met.Responsibilities include:Sprays all parts needed for manufacturing and to be able to mix custom stains.Keeps spray guns clean throughout the day to produce an even coat of paint on the product.Completes touch up work as needed.Informs mill of parts needed for productionSets up and operates hot stamp machinePerforms required preventive maintenance on equipmentEnsures a final quality inspection is done on the product prior to forwarding to the next deptTroubleshooting skills along with strong mechanical skill to overcome process variablesMonitor stock levels and place order request to warehouseKeep lot control of parts inventorNormal hours are Monday through Thursday 5:30am to 4pmEducation: Must have High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: 2+ years experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred.
